The Clinton Hill Cooperative in Brooklyn, New York, encompassing 12 buildings and 1,223 apartments, faced challenges with uneven heating during winter. The primary issue was the outdated steam heating system. Implementing Cozys technology led to a substantial decrease in gas usage, greatly enhancing resident comfort. This change also significantly reduced the carbon emissions associated with heating, aiding the cooperative’s compliance with Local Law 97. Additionally, this upgrade positively impacted the cooperative’s energy grade under NYC Local Law 33/95.
