Why Kelvin?
What does Kelvin do?
Kelvin helps prevent apartment overheating in legacy multifamily buildings during the winter while reducing the building’s heating cost and carbon emissions through radiator retrofit solutions and heat pumps.
Our radiator solutions include the Cozy Custom and the Cozy Core, which help balance steam and hot-water heated buildings while providing residents room-by-room heating control. Cozys reduce heating bills by an average of 25.5%, as verified by NYSERDA, and qualify for Federal tax credits and utility rebates.
Adaptive Electrification is our heat pump solution. Our heat pumps replace window and through wall ACs and we connect them to our IoT. This enables the building to participate in time-of-use pricing and demand-response programs through utility companies, allowing customers to reduce on-site fossil fuel usage while earning back on their electricity usage.
We currently do not sell individual units of either solutions since our technology provides optimal savings when applied across a building.
Do Kelvin products qualify for rebates?
Yes! Our Cozys and Adaptive Electrification platform both qualify for local and federal incentives. While the One Big Beautiful Bill Act has accelerated the deadline for certain tax credits, Cozys have not been affected.
Additionally, we are proud partners with Exelon, Con Edison, National Grid, Peoples Gas, and PSEG, and we are the only incentivized radiator control solution.
How much do Cozy systems cost?
Cost depends from project to project since incentives are calculated based on a variety of factors, including size, LMI status, building location, and radiator coverage.
The best way to get an accurate estimate is to send us your building’s utility bills from the past 12-24 months, so we can model what savings and pay off would look like.
Additionally, we offer two different payment options, both for 0 money down. The first is to pay for the system up front, and the second option is a subscription model.
Is this a good fit for my building?
